Antenatal Shared Care
Dr Sarah is accredited for Antenatal Shared Care at most major Sydney hospitals including RNSH, Westmead, RPA, Canterbury and RHW. She loves caring for all aspects of pregnancy, and is especially excited for the continuity of care when she can continue to look after Mum and Baby after birth.

Body Positive Care
Dr Sarah believes all bodies deserve the best care, regardless of size, ability, colour, gender or sexuality. She practices body positive, weight neutral care that aligns with HAES principles.

Skin Checks & Procedures
Dr Sarah has an Advanced Certificate in Skin Cancer Medicine. She is available for regular skin checks (please make a long appointment), and where excisions are required she does most of these herself. She is also able to remove Implanons and Mirenas. Dr Sarah administers intravenous iron infusions.

Children's Health
Dr Sarah loves looking after paediatric patients from birth. She has a Diploma of Child Health, as well as a Breastfeeding Medicine certification. She performs routine baby checks and childhood immunisations.

Lactation Consults
For lactation consults at Maxim Street, please book an hour long consult for Mum & baby - it takes both of you to breastfeed!

General Practice
At Maxim Street, Dr Sarah is able to see all kinds of patients for all normal General Practice work - women’s health (including cervical screening/pap smears), men’s health, mental health, eating disorders, children’s health and vaccinations, acute injuries, general check ups and more. Please note that Dr Sarah does not prescribe contraception, but she is able to discuss your options and refer you to a colleague as needed.
Fees
Most of Dr Sarah’s services attract a private fee with a Medicare rebate.
Dr Sarah continues to bulk bill eligible services for patients under the age of 15, along with older teens who are still in High School.
Health Assessments and GP Management Plans will be bulk billed for eligible patients as long as they are booked with the nurse.
Please check if you and your family are registered for the Extended Medicare Safety Net, especially if you are on a concession card, as this will significantly decrease your out-of-pocket costs. If your healthcare costs in a calendar year (1 January to 31 December) are over a certain threshold, Medicare will start paying a higher rebate, covering UP TO 80% of your out-of-pocket costs. Note that the Medicare Safety Net and the PBS (Pharmaceuticals) Safety Net are not the same thing, and registering for one does not automatically register you for the other. We suggest you check out both.
Not attending your appointment or cancelling with less than 2 hours’ notice will incur a cancellation fee.
